The USA Today Newspaper recently provided an article about the need to plan for long term care illness. The article discusses different options including planning for Medicaid and retaining the services of an estate planning attorney.
The average nursing home cost in Onondaga County is $15,000 per month or $180,000 per year. This is substantially higher than the $100,000 cost mentioned in the article.
